Index history
No period of this index has cleared the publication gate yet, so there is nothing to plot. The gate needs at least 6 matched pairs and at least 25% of the constituent count.
What is in the basket
Every wine-vintage in the current period, with the evidence that put it there. Constituents are wine plus vintage, never producer.

The selection rule
Selection model: seeded only · 0 producers represented.
A wine-vintage qualifies on at least four trades in the trailing twelve months across at least three distinct months, in the 750ml band, with a vintage present. The basket is reviewed quarterly with a retention buffer, so it does not churn on noise.
